Analyst/Associate - ION Crossover Fund

ION Crossover Partners (ICP) is looking for a dynamic self-starter and highly-driven team player to join our investing team as an Analyst/Associate.

As a Crossover fund, we are focused on investing in the next stage of some of Israel’s most exciting technology companies with our current portfolio including SimilarWeb, Aqua, Taboola, WSC Sports, Via and more.

 

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and self-driven with the ability to thrive in an unstructured work environment.

Being a core part of our small but nimble investing team, you will have exposure to all aspects of the investment world: investment thesis development, financial analysis, portfolio company support, fund management, investment decision making, fundraising and more.

Impact & Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and thesis development on sectors of interest including bottom-up and top-down analysis of markets, identifying the key growth drivers of the sector, recognize the competitive dynamics and identify key risks to consider

  • Support the Investment Team in due diligence efforts including detailed analysis of the company, product, market, competitive landscape and financial performance

  • Maintain and update sector benchmarking models and portfolio company valuation models based on changes in company performance and industry metrics

  • Monitor and keep track of the Israeli ecosystem development and ICP’s target universe and support pipeline creation

  • Provide support and guidance to portfolio companies as they scale their businesses on the global stage

  • Attend Management meetings, conferences and other networking events

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships within the firm’s network and industrywide

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years industry experience in a finance, consulting or business-related role

  • Extensive financial modelling skills

  • Calm under pressure with the capability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver work on time

  • Ask the right questions when needed and be comfortable to know what you don’t know

  • Fluent in both English and Hebrew (written and verbal communication)

The job will be mainly based in ION’s offices in Herzliya.

Junior Analyst - ION Asset Management (public markets)

We are seeking a highly driven, personable team player to join our public-market investing team in a Junior Analyst role. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional intellectual and analytical capabilities, a passion for investing, strong motivation and drive, and high personal integrity. Investment Analysts work closely with Portfolio Managers to generate research and implement investment ideas. Successful Analysts are given greater responsibility and input into investment decisions over time.

 

Qualifications and Previous Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, etc.) or recent graduate

  • Genuine enthusiasm for investing and a curiosity for technology trends

  • Familiarity with financial markets and a keen interest in equity capital markets

  • Relevant internships or student jobs demonstrating a strong foundation in finance and related areas

  • Proficient in excel with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data

  • Demonstrated work ethic, showcasing a hardworking attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for the team

  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to derive relevant insights and conclusions

  • Adaptable and calm under pressure, with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and consistently deliver work on time

  • Proactive in seeking clarification and asking the right questions when needed; comfortable acknowledging areas of limited knowledge

  • Fluent in both English and Hebrew, with strong written and verbal communication skills

 

The job will be mainly based in ION’s offices in Herzliya. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Management meetings and other events across Israel.

Investor Relations Analyst

As an integral member of the investor relations team reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, your primary responsibility is to assist potential and existing investors in ION’s funds, including:

  • Assist investors in completing subscription documents and guide them through the investment process.

  • Liaise with fund administrators to ensure all investors are signed off by them for AML purposes.

  • Assist in collecting any documentation or information from investors to facilitate the sign-off.

  • Ensure all information for CRS filings is collected and filed as necessary.

  • Provide investors with any information or assistance they may need from time to time.

  • Furnish investors with any required statements of account, tax confirmations, and information for tax or regulatory filings as needed.

  • Support investors in submitting applications to redeem funds and ensure the safe receipt of all redemption funds.

  • Keep our CRM software updated with all investor and fund information, ensuring reconciliation with the fund administrator data at all times.

What we are looking for:

  • Highly proficient in English, including speaking, reading, and writing skills – most of the work is in English, so this is a must.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Service-oriented.

  • Comfortable working with numbers and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Ability to work independently and learn on the go.

  • Advantage given to those with 1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a fund or another financial institution.
