Based in London, Monica joined ION in 2026 to oversee the Firm's business development in EMEA. Monica brings extensive experience in global business development and investor relations, most recently serving as Head of BD and IR at JJJ Capital, a Moore spin-out, where she played a central role in cultivating the firm’s global client relationships and driving key strategic initiatives. Prior to JJJ Capital, Mrs. Won held similar roles at Maniyar Capital, a Tudor spin-out, leading the firm’s asset raising initiatives as well as launching new products. She began her career trading global rates at BlackRock.
Beyond her professional endeavours, Mrs. Won serves on the London Gala Committee for 100 Women in Finance as Co-Chair and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Federation of British Artists. She is a gold medal recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, conferred by former President Obama. Mrs. Won holds a B.Sc. with First Class Honors in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University, where she was a Bocconi Merit Scholar.
