Special Advisor to the investment Committee

Nico Hansen is a seasoned investment executive with over 20 years of global leadership experience in private equity. As a former Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Apax Partners, he spent two decades shaping the firm’s investment strategy, chairing its Global Approval and Portfolio Review Committees, and overseeing major transactions across multiple sectors and geographies.

During his tenure at Apax, Nico led the U.S. Tech & Telecom team in New York before relocating to London, where he continued to drive high-impact deals, including Kabel Deutschland, Versatel, Trizetto, and Hub International. He also played a key role in Apax’s activities in Israel, chairing the Apax Israel Investment Committee, co-leading landmark investments in Bezeq and Tnuva, and serving on the boards of both Tnuva and Attenti.

Earlier in his career, Nico was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising global telecom and technology clients on strategy and business transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bonn.

Nico currently sits on several corporate boards and remains actively involved in private equity and technology investing. He lives with his family in Munich, Germany, and maintains strong ties to Israel, which he visits regularly.
